Guesses and liberties

  • The stage size, HUD layout, menus, the single-file queue, the five-box training queue, the absence of passive income and the first turret-spot price come from playing the original (see NOTES.md). The frame rate is still assumed to be 30.
  • Unit and turret costs are sourced, and damage-per-tick exists for the Stone Age units and the first eight turrets. Unit health, movement speed and reach are not sourced and are reconstructed.
  • What a kill pays, and what a loss earns in experience, are unsourced: kills pay 1.25 times the unit cost and a loss earns half of a kill's experience.
  • Turret spots after the first, the refund for selling one, and the placement of spots on the base are guessed. The original prices the first at $1,000.
  • The lane length is a choice that fits the sourced turret ranges; the original scrolls about one screen further than it shows.
  • Sources disagree on the special-attack cooldown: 30 seconds or 40-45 seconds. 30 is used.
